I have been quilting the first third of my Cornucopia of Thanks quilt all week. It's really a sampler with 12" blocks and somewhat unusual 6" sashing which sets the quilt apart. Here's one of the blocks with the sashing. I have done the blocks but now I'm trying to figure out how to quilt the sashing. I have been using a very light gray on the blocks, with accents of multicolored thread. I think I'll use black on the black sashing parts. It's a very busy quilt, but I am loving the way it's turning out.
